No NY rapper has an album that is currently in the Billboard top 100 charts and no NY rapper has released a Gold or platinum album or single this year.

Beamer Benz or Bentley, and he did this without any sort of promotion, independantly, no label backing, by putting it on his homies website. Ross jumped on the hottest producer at the times nuts and had def jam market the song and throw all the money they could at it (B.M.F.). I like BMF and BBB but what Banks did was more impressive than what Ross did with their first singles expecially when Ross was claiming Lloyd Banks would never have a hit again, bet he feels like a dumbass now when he looks back on that.

Fuck Nikki Minaj too but she is currently a better rapper, and a bigger rapper than Ross is now.

Jay Z is better than Ross,

and 50 can do numbers like Ross without any sort of hit

This is totally without mentioning the better technical rappers there are in new york who dont sell crazy amounts of records.
