How is Ross 2010 MVP and Teflon Don aint Classic??? I commend Ross for TD cuz he showed a remarkable improvement from his past albums but the MVP is either Damian,Talib,BlackThought or Nas

Teflon Don is classic just like DTR. Ross has overcome the biggest hate campaign in recent hip-hop history. Ross just outsold his last album which in this climate is an accomplishment. Ross buried G Unit once and for all, has an endorsement deal with nike, not to mentioned he layed down arguably the best guest verse on one of the biggest albums of the year in MBDTF. Ross has the anthem of the year in BMF, mixtape of the year in Albert Anastasia, and he for the most part has brought Jeezy's career to a standstill. Ross also ate G Rap alive on the Knife Fight track they had together. All in all Ross had the biggest rise of any hip-hop artist this year and that is undeniable. 2011 should see big things for Rozay.

May i remind you that if it wuznt for Reggae, then Hiphop wouldnt be born. Reggae is the REALEST Music ever.....Nas spit venom on DR. Leaders,Dispear,Afrika must wake up,Friends,Tribal war,In his own words,Count yo blessings,Strong wil continue...the whole album Nas wuz lyrically sharp...Pardon me bruh, Distant Relatives is more Influential than TD. DR impact is big in N.America,Africa,S.America,Carribean while TD is only big in the states

Nigga I don't need a history lesson, I don't like Reggae......didn't know that was a sin. I'm not denying any impact that DR had, I just know it didn't impact me. Like I said if you like it that's cool but DR is not MY album of the year.

Rozay is 2010 MVP for alot of reasons I will just mention a few:

He dropped a critically acclaimed album that went Gold (exceeded total from last years album), street-single of the year

He has been on more Hot songs this year than any other artist

He made The MTV Hottest rapper list at #5, the B.E.T rapper of the decade at #10 won two B.E.T HipHop awards, and performed a stunt at the Vma's.

International tour dates including gigs in Africa (Ghana stand up)!

A Nike endorsement 1800 Tequila endorsment

Made the HipHop Forbes list for the first time at 5-mill

Got a day named after him in Miami for his Rick Ross Charities work

beat a lawsuit over his name, stayed out of jail without stupid arrests

...he did all that after beefing with Mr. Destroy-your-career 50-Cent who is damn near irrelevant now.

Am I wrong???

There were so many goons at that show i heard
U.K. goons are the grimiest, cats on Twitter said they turned it out at the end.

Toward the end Rozay dove into the crowd at the delight of the screaming fans who held him up and carried him around like an Afrikan king.

Hallelujah

That's great, good for him .....now how does any of this make him better than any rapper from NY ?

My post was directed towards a friend of mine in regards to why Rozay should be considered 2010 M.V.P...somehow that was lost in translation. Huh??

As far as Rozay being "better" than his NY counterparts, that isnt the question posed in the thread by the T/S...somehow this was lost in translation also.. Huh??

As far as who's "currently better" as an artist you have to establish criteria and then judge.

Simple enough or should I dumb it down some more??
