I think Rakim understands Eminem being a great Lyricist with classics under his belt like The SSLP, MMLP & The Eminem Show, in the interview Rakim also said Eminem is an Artist that is very personal while someone like Nas is more street

This interview was after Rakim left Aftermath and Remember if Rakim was just trying to gain some of Eminem's fan base he would have just collaberated with him

If he thought so highly of Eminem why didn't they just collab? remember Rakim also thinks very highly of Nas but he hasn't collberated with him even after Nas made a whole Song talking about Rakim
