A lotta people are comparing it to HIGO

However Quest said that was the album (HIGO) that is defining their new state of mind musically

How I Got Over deals with mortality amidst socio economic ills.

undun deals with the beginning and end of a human life ... told in reverse

Same here... not impressed with that referee, at all. *could go on a huge rant but restricts himself out of professionalism of being a mod lol.*

Hahaha Yeah i just finished watching the match aswell, That fulham player Dembele is quality i recon! pretty even if you ask me the match. both had good chances.

You cant speak to me about bad refs after the Toon match on saturday. David Luiz is a shit player, shoulda been off haha.

Got my tickets for Liverpool Away sorted like.

I Digress, Ill try keep on the thread topic......... Im so tempted to youtube some of the songs, but im restraining myself..

i got like 5 Roots album, and the only one if ever been like addictedto is How i got over. i dno why, but How i got over is such a great disc, really is like a soundtrack to your day.

David Luiz is an idiot, but a likeable one... and I know what you mean, Bolton red card was ridiculous as well for Cahill. Anyway, I digress too..

Nice, to be honest, I really like Illadelph Halflife as well, but I know what you mean, HIGO really is a landmark album, really showed off Black Thought perfectly, IMO. But all of their releases have been solid with outstanding tracks... really can't wait to hear it. Going to see Aloe Blacc on Wednesday too... class on Liverpool tickets!

This album just gets better and better with every listen, I seriously think the instrumentals are up there alongside the likes of 'All of the Lights' by Kanye West in terms of commercial hip hop's best, rather than the true instrumental geniuses that we know of… these really are up there. Flawless listen, it really is a journey more so than anything else… yet you want to go on that journey again after each listen because of its conciseness, cohesiveness and brilliance.

I don't think that this is up there with How I Got Over in terms of 'Hey, I gotta hear that track again!' But as an overall listen, it definitely is more memorable in many ways.

Co Sign draft, This album is just amazing, the flow of its right, the beats are amazing, Black thought is on top form.. Lyrics are deep. Heard it about 6 or 7 times now and it just keeps getting better and better. The Otherside is my fav song ATM. thats been on steady repeat. Really like how this album is like How i got over, it has a certain feel.. like almost a mind frame.

Fucking amazing!!!

We cant get this in the reason one time tho..... but anyways this album is great ...i see the comparisons to HIGO but i see that album as the picture and this one is more of the analyzation of the characters in that picture ...you definately have to read the lyrics to catch everything thats being said additionally its good to listen to it in reverse but conceptually i diggin it the roots are in a zone right now ..
