Album is amazing. Solid from start to finish. Dark, but musical on a level that is new to Roots. BT is still spitting ferociously. One of the best of the year for sure.

I do agree there's not really one song that stands out like on earlier albums, but the album flows really well.It makes it feel really cohesive. That being said though i love lighthouse,one time and the other side

Yea this is a good album. So the guy that this album is based on, is there a reason they choose this guy? was he famous for something? did a a google search but didn't find much.

What amazes me about The Roots the most is that despite almost 20 years in the game and tons of classic, critically acclaimed material, they still challenge themselves and search for something new, original that has never been done before. I haven't checked album yet, but I'm ready for standing ovation already.

didn't really get the concept idea they supposed to have... maybe after a couple of listens
