The Road...the movie and book are so different

I enjoyed the movie. Haven't read the book, but it always annoys me when folk talk about how different the movie was than the book. Once that property is optioned, there is no guarantee or responsibility to keep them exact.

yea, but there are specific spots in the book that are in the movie word for word but at different times

I would not recommend anyone to watch the movie, it was poorly directed. The book is better.

I haven't read the book, but I really liked them movie. I'm surprised I hear more negative reviews about it than good.

The film did a decent job at capturing the ambiance of the book, they were both meticulous and poignant. I do think the novel is better though.
