Irv is one of the best on the beats and he knows how to make a hit, I welcome this return.

Agree strongly with bolded, I think Irv for all his faults (trying to be a gangster etc) is a great A&R and knows music etc and he saved Def Jam imo...

This could be dope, but it could also be wack... If they can get anywhere near prime Inc and do them then they should be a success, Ja, Black Child and Tah etc spitting raw raps and couple radio friendly rap/r&b style joints would be welcomed to this era of rap with all the wack schitt around... I just dont hope they try an 'up to date' style Murder Inc and try find the new Kendrick, trap or mumble rap rapper... I was a fan of their music back in the day and G Units..

Didn't they relaunch the label back in 08-ish though? As The Inc? And rule had his own label called Mpire (not a typo lmao)

Yep. I still remember that wack ass uh oh single he had premiered on 106th and park. Shit didnt even make the countdown

That was the track with Wayne during his prime. It only flopped because Interscope had the media in their palms at the time. Anything anti Eminem was not getting a pass.

Too bad boutique hip hop labels are a thing of the past. Independent is where it's at

Folks always say this but the top artist(Kendrick,Future,Cole, Drake, etc) who got the hits and sales are signed to majors.

Irv is talented and smart, no doubt. but that doesn't necessarily translate to a successful label.

best of luck to em though

Murder Inc was a successful label

"Regroup from the Feds"

Nigga got acquitted 12 years ago

It cost money to beat the Feds,

And on top of that he had to be able to maintain, I'm sure that shit probably drained his accounts..

It wasn't some 10 year case. He went to trail and was acquitted in under a year.
