I Think that the relationship between Hov and Hip Hop even the way Free is dressed like a regular dude in Hip Hop says a lot.

you really think dude was gonna go meet the mayor rocking t shirt, timbs, and jeans. Free definitely didn't dress for the occasion.

This really upset me, Freeway should have been able to stand right next to JayZ in that picture.

Freeway is the only person on that stage that's a Philly artist and a part of the "culture" that JayZ was speaking about.

I don't like how he shoved him away instead of embracing him......

And oh yeah Tomp is the GOAT.

@usmarine Jayz meet the Mayor and important ppl in his normal attire before June Ambrose made him grow fashion wise. And Freeway isn't there as a Business man he's there as a Artist and Artist should be able to wear what ever reprensents them and their music.

Oh really, show me one picture when Jay-z has ever met President Obama or Bloomberg in a t shirt and jeans. He always dress up when it's something that is business like. The announcement wasn't about Freeway, it was about Jay-z, the mayor, and other execs there announcing something.

lol @ freeway..that nigga soul musta been burnin but I know people can wear what they want and shouldn't be judged but Free could've atleast took the hat off and wore a button up lol

i bet jay was kinda embarrassed too though

like if you at some official shit like your job and your hood homeboy comes thru on some dumb shit

"chill, not right now."

it is election year. so you gotta think those whites aren't taking any pics with muslims

That's a good point.

Not just that, it's that Freeway also represents street rap and is probably viewed by them as a thug. Jay Z has transitioned to a business man and they view Jay as an entity beyond a rapper.

Funny as hell how Jay waved Free off like that, but I'm sure that wasn't his intention.
