Nice drop Lou :tu I haven't heard this but they've got a collab with Substantial and production from Apollo Brown… which does spark a few memories of checking this out over at UGHH I think due to the Apollo collab.

I'm checking these out on YouTube as I write this…

Looking forward to checking the project out Lou, it's amazing what you discover when you revisit something you were interested in… I think downloadable music like that is coming to an end though as the companies pull a tight squeeze on links.

It is really nice though, what do we know about the two emcees?

I know, i havent been able to download music in ages. they shut down most the media fire links and everything. i can still get an album if its on a blogspot or something but if i google it like i used to, wont come up with anything :(. i dont know a damn thing about these guys. not even their names or how long they been around lol. i will look up a bio or something and post it shortly.

Modern day hip hop has become a battleground where false messiahs of materialism have often gained the upper hand, but MCs OSI and IseQold of The Regiment are the positive force for change in music. Based in Detroit, OSI and Ise defined the Regiment as something more than just two men. A regiment is comprised of a number of people fighting for a common cause, and when the cause is something as vast as hip hop itself, there’s no way two individuals alone can get the job done. OSI and IseQold now lead The Regiment, a collective of fans and music lovers who want more from their music and are willing to join the battle. Dealing with the everyday struggles of trying to make it in a sometimes brutal world, The Regiment leaves the gold plated fantasies to others. Taking cues from artists diverse as KRS-1 and J-Dilla, The Regiment lyrically mixes the uplifting as well as the painfully truthful with production that hankers back to the days when hip hop wasn’t a dirty word, when people of all ages could listen and enjoy musical truth.

I definitely agree with regards to links… they're finally doing their jobs as far as piracy is concerned… most websites are getting shut down as well… I guess it's good that we still have artists streaming their albums though…
