I want to say around the summer of 2003 with the song "Frontin" by Pharell which would have been around the same time as "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce. But was he calling himself "Hov" or "Young Hov" before that?

Well enlighten me; Where else would a person go if he wanted to know when Jay Z started calling himself Hov? Should I walk outside and take a random survey? should I do a telethon and call people? Should I go backstage to one of his concerts, sneak past security and ask him myself?
