Its funny how Paul Wall never pimped houston like he could have. Instead he stuck to his guns and repped for his city even though houston was steady losing spotlight. Paul Wall gets respect because he earned it the hard way and stayed true to himself and his city. By the way Shady you better thank god for tinternet nerds because thats the only way you would have became a fan of Z-Ro a houston rapper because rap a lot doesn't have distributor to the UK.

There is a difference between Slim Shady which is an alter ego where Eminem play's a role and Eminem aka Marshall Mathers
People aren't gonna relate to records about murder, rape & violance cos let's be honest majority of people aren't murderes, rapists or psychos Eminem didn't intend for people to relate to Slim Shady
But generally people especially blacks and some whites, latinos whatever race really can relate to records like Rock Bottom, If I Had, The Way I Am, Drug Ballad, Hailie's Song, Say Goodbye To Hollywood, Soldier, Mockingbird, We As Americans, Toy Soldiers, Beautiful, Talking To Myself, Cinderella Man, Seduction and so on
Pretty much the majority of Eminem Song's really
It's the Slim Shady character people i noticed especially a lotta black people on the IC atleast have a problem with Song's like Hellbound, Insane, My Name Is, My Dad's Gone Crazy, Amityville etc
But i'll say one thing though Eminem will have 1 Line in a Song about rape or murder and people will stereotype Eminem just of 1 Line in a Song
Just like people will watch 8 Mile & think oh Eminem lived in a Trailor but that was a movie Eminem played Jimmy Smith it was not an autobiography but a semi autobiography the reality is Eminem lived in a house on 7 Mile he never actually lived in a Trailor, he lived next to Trailor Parks but that is not the same as actually living in 1
