According to H Rap the Suburban demographic will listen to Street Rappers such as Styles P, Rick Ross, G Unit and countless others and through that Music and content of Street Rap fantasize about living the lifestyle of selling drug's, being in a Gang, being respect in the hood etc being attracted to that lifestyle
NWA the first real Gangsta Rap group had the suburbs going crazy then it was 2pac then it was Jay Z then it was Rick Ross
but does a dude wether from a poor city neighbourhood who never lived the street lifestyle or a rich dude from a nice Suburb who never lived the street life have to fantasize and try to dream about that lifestyle by listening to the likes of Rick Ross? of course not that's idiotic H Rap said it himself good Music is good Music you don't have to fantasize to listen to Street Rap if a person really was doing that they would seriously contemplate buying a Gun ir selling drug's after hearing A Rick Ross record and people just don't do that
So H Rap was way off with what he said
Another thing he said was a person from a Suburban demographic will listen to a certain Artist to feel 'cool' but again what is cool to some isn't cool to others H Rap is stereotyping and not talking fact he is assuming things with out evidence in modern society regardless of how poor, wealthy, what race or where a person is from people atleast some will follow trends that is just life if a kid sees a Rick Ross Video on TV and is impressed feels good listening to it why is the kid wrong to like that? even though he never hustled drug's?
