The internet and computers done made it too easy to get a microphone and protools so everybody tryin to be on and its too accessible. It was better back in the day when you had to get a rep in the streets first before you even had a chance to make a demo. Rappers knew they had to be more versatile and come with they own style back in the day.

you aint never lie.....being original and building your rep in the streets first and foremost was key back in the 90s, i respect the internet game, but the streets will always be the roots of the game and without roots you wont have that solid foundation thats needed to sustain longevity in the game, and just like a plant without roots it wont grow.... i say only 2 percent out of millions of artists/ rappers will make it just off internet exposer alone, (soilder boy, justin bieber) you got to grind in these streets if you want to build that solid fanbase in the game.....
