hey all im sayin...is that i can go either way..and id rather go the way that the majority of ppl are going to enjoy the whole point of makeing music is for ppl to like it...and i have to admit if underground music was poppin right now and if ppl were judged more on them technical deep hardcore lyrics it would prob be much much more harder for me to get noticed...just keepin it real!

Well to start, I don't make music so I understand if you don't take my opinion seriously..but....

I just believe that art should be inspired by something deeper than "I want people to like it." That would make it a popularity contest/minstrel show where anything goes. Be your unique self, live life (as you have) and gain inspiration and let it show through your art. Coming up with MANUFACTURED MUSIC THAT FITS THE NOW is what corny ass people do. If you claim to be an ARTIST, why would your only inspiration be "I want people to like it?" Do you want to be an artist or do you just want to have a lot of money and be popular?
