aint no goddamn way under pressure is better than BMF beat. u dudes are sick. hell yeah dre beats aint relevant today. nigga been cradled his whole life by ghostproducers like DJ Alladin, DJ Yella, Daz, Soopafly, Storch, Mike Elizondo. Dre never made one of his classics by himself. what yall niggas think im crazy telling yall this shit. its the fucking truth. even Jerry Heller was producing on SOC. dre aint never made a beat by himself. Phone Tap was a beat that scott storch sent dre in 95 that aint his music fools. speaking of storch he is the brainchild behind 2001. melman already spoke on how dre would leave the studio for days and weeks and it was up to storch and melman to mix and progress the album. dre comes back after greek sex orgys. fiddles with some buttons an POW. its a dre beat. and his check dwriting boyfriend is making the proceeds out to dre and publishing the music under dre. he aint paying no flash in the pan producers WHO AINT SUCKING HIS DICK LIKE GAY ASS DRE any points on a interscope money makin album. Iovine was still pimpin storch after the success of 2001 and threw a fit when he didnt want to do xtina album for a couple of pennies. he fucked his whole world up. jew gangsta shit. Dr. Dre knows that can happen to him so he clings to Iovine like a bitch because not only is that his GAY LOVER its his boss and his master and im sure hrap120 would love to school yall the 1-36 correlation to the above sentence lol. Dre fears Iovine. Dre got money. He been bitching and complaining for years about his NON ownership of the chronic and doggy style album. he had the money to buy death row in the auction. and yall know that gay ass s/m inspried vault of dre beats these niggas talking about belong to that white bitch who was smart enough to buy death row aka dr. dre's 15% residual income. Dre even leaks one of them joints she can retire asap. hell suge is still getting money off of dre and you only a hater if u dont think so. dre had the power to end all that but iovine being the cheap dirty jew that he is fooled dre into not buying it. Iovine tells dre to drop game. iovine tells dre to ignore 50. iovine makes dre drops every label on aftermath. em the only nigga smart enough to get some lawyers involved and keep his label Fuck Dr. Dre overated producer who cant hold a candle to KANYE WEST, DJ PREMIER, HAVOC, RZA. motherfuckin underpressure is garbage. Tik Tok has more complex synthesized riffs than Under pressure. shit sounds just like everything else on the radio. dr dre need to give it up and go back to suckin off iovine

i tried to keep up and listen to what your saying untill you posted names of producers who make boring beats...but kanye is cool...and havoc sometimes can wreck...

and dre makes beats by him self, its just he has pro players of other instruments play certain parts.

DRE has said it him self .. its not that he has the magic to production ,its that he hes the best at knowing what he wants to hear, secluding that certain player, and knowing what and where he wants to go

with the track..

he starts off with a drum pattern on the mpc..then goes from there..and then after ALL of that, he still goes to town on the board on the tech side of things with his engineer.

DRE= one of the greatest of all time.

relax a little bit, hes up there..as far as whos #1 ? I think dre, but its no argument ..it would be stupid to argue over beats..each does his own thing.

but saying dre isnt up there as one of the greatest is hating.

and yes .. prem and rza make boring beats.... 65%of the time. and they certainly don't have the skills of dre aside from actually beat making...etc..

under pressure sounds like a preloaded synth that my casio keyboard had back in 1991. u dudes look to hard into this bullshit music to give these rappers props. i heard better beats in fresh produce section of ic than under pressure. everytime i hear this song i expect will farrell and chris kataan to jump out and start doing those awkward rave dances. smh. sorry dre boys the punk dont have it in him or better yet the producers around him to give him hot music. dude burned to many bridges by not paying niggas. melman, hitman aint get a damn dime from 2001. scott storch had to sue iovine to get credit for still dre, next episode so on. fuck dre. aint nothing original about him at all. ghostwriters. ghostproducer and he is ghost most of the time from the studio. lets dont get it fucked up. nate dogg was the true star of the show on 2001. just like snoop owned the chronic. dre just been in the background stealing everybody credit and money. a real dr dre fan was heart broken after waiting 11 years to hear a gaga throwaway beat with Jay Z sounding like drake on the shit. thats not the futuristic sound dre promised. thats the current sound dre is adapting to.

dre should of released this shit in 2005 like he promised at the vibe awards and encore release party. i guess that punch in the face set the album back smh. when his camp was damn near godlike. game just went 5x, 50 did 1.4 in 3 days, em just dropped encore, banks went plat, buck went gold, d12 had a platnium album the year prior same as snoop. nate dogg, warren g and snoop went gold with that 213 album. storch was killing everything. and you gotta keep in mind Busta just joined the team in 04-05 touch it/ill hurt u had heavy buzz. raekwon was on aftermath in 2005. joell and bishop lamont were underground buzz worthy favorite for both coasts. and stat quo had a buzz in the south too. eminem had cashis ready on deck in 05 and mobb deep and mop joined g unit in 05. at the time the original plan for jay z/nas song was set for detox even denzel spoke on that=UNDISPUTED GOAT HIP HOP ALBUM. FACE IT DR DRE DROPPED THE BALL

man u sick. RZA dont make boring beats. RZA is one of the most creative and innovative producers to ever enter hip hop. you talk about Dre is a good arranger? listen to the sample placement and musical timing of RZA beats and listen to a real hip hop genius at work. none of dre albums cant fuck with any of the wu albums its simple as that. Dre cant chop up a beat like RZA. dre cant dig rare and obscure samples up like RZA. dre cant arrange complex production like the RZA. Dr Dre isnt seeing RZA on his worst day.

You mentioned storch, and hes working with him on detox.... So thats not a bridge burned, finally hes not spending 40 million on coke and a fuck in Vegas..so now hes with dre.

I will agree however there is nothing special about under pressure beat, its a simple beat that bangs and will do good in the clubs, and thats what it is for...

aside from that, I still think detox will have some bangers and be a great album,

but when everyone hears it, they will say this.

"wow 10 years of work and this is it , wtf this sucks "

But what people dont understand is its not like the beats that you will hear have been being worked on for 10 years, time off was taken, work was being done, game album, 50 album, eminem album,

HELL, even 2 months ago eminem's not afraid messed up the single release pushing of under pressure..

People calling him lazy when hes in the studio non stop producing THE HITS that have came in the past years....

WHILE making mad money from the whole HP beats thing..

DRE is doing his thing and has the hustle of someone broke..

and fuck 2005, that was not the time, that was the time of the South rising with CHAMILLIONAIRE coming out with one of the biggest hits of all time..and the south rising..

right before that mike jones blowing etc....This was also 50 cent's moment ...

2010 or early 2011 is the time of Detox...where when you turn on the radio ...and you hear a little something like this.

Power on..

Click

Drake....... next station..DRAKE.....next station, boring song with a male singer...NEXT STATION...nicki manaj saying the worst lines of all time..next station... singing...

ETC.....WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO RADIO ?!!?!?! or MUSIC ???

Eminem put out recovery....HATE comes...when the motherfucker put his greatest work out since the old times..

and when DRE puts out his masterpeice ...everyone will hate, and be wrong, talking about 10 years which makes NO SENSE AT ALL.

95% of rap fans are ignorant and dont know shit. and im not talking about you tompetrez..you actually know how to argue back like a man

instead of saying " u mad " after losing like 99% of this website.

bruh tell me college dropout didnt change the game.......tell me late registration didnt show his evolution as an mc.........and tell me graduation didnt show some of his bestg production

Kanye is not this generations Dre. College Dropout changed the direction of Hip Hop in terms of offering an alternative to crunk, bling and gangsta rap that dominated the airwaves. Production wise, it did nothing that Blueprint hadn't previously done. Kanye's evolution as an MC has nothing to do w/ his evolution as a producer even though that album displayed his evolution as a producer and stands today as his greatest achievement as a producer. Now that album was truly groundbreaking production wise. Graduation was a step down because much of it sounded familiar. It had that electro sound to it which was pretty big at the time and no Kanye is not responsible for bringing that to the forefront.

To answer this thread, the whole concept of a super producer is irrelevant in 2010. It doesn't matter if Kanye, Dre, Timbo, Just Blaze, or Polow is lacing your album, it isn't going to be a big deal. In this era of downloading, people hardly even check album credits anymore and probably don't care. Five years ago, an all star line up of super producers created hype for an album. These days, it's like whatever i.e. Drake and Eminem's latest. Those albums have big name producers on them, but people weren't going ga ga over the production credits, it was everything else but that.

Dr. Dre is still relevant as a producer and always will be due to the fact that he's created a brand for himself based solely on the music.

as stated. Scott Storch produced that track for Dr. Dre ( Jay wrought his lyrics)

So NOW how do you feel about the beat???

Do you STILL stand by your opinion : "under pressure beat > all beats on the radio right now..."

Now you that know Dre did not produce the track?

Take it easy with the hyperbole, Dre was behind Ruthless, Death Row and Aftermath. He is responsible for the careers of great rappers like Snoop and Eminem. Kanye's body of work and influence on rap pales in comparison.

Double standard. Kanye also has co-producers. It has been a minute since Kanye has done a beat solely by himself. Most of his new stuff is co-produced by No I.D. "Power" is the same case as "Under Pressure" where S1 produced the track while Kanye co-produced by adding minor touches similar to how Storch did "Under Pressure" and Dre added touches. The last two tracks to solely be produced by Kanye are Jay's "Haters" and "Young Forever".

To answer question DRE beats are not irrelevant everytime someone rap over one that shit is automatically listened to by thousands of people, whether or not DRE beats are good in 2010 is another question.
