U niggas kill me, NY has to always find it's way in every thread topic. First off why would niggas from NY get at Cube when at the time when he left N.W.A has was around NY niggas. Cube was real cool with P.E. and the Bomb Squad cats... A lot of the production for his Album was done by Bomb Squad. LOL.. U cats kill me.

The 80s generation of NY rappers were cool, but the ones from the 90s were cocky, bitter bastards that couldn't stop talking shit. That's why Cube wasn't cool with them 90s cats. You never saw Public Enemy, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim or EPMD talk shit about west coast rappers when they got big in the early to mid 90s. The next generation of NY emcees though.... they were bitter dumb asses that later got mad at the south for blowing up. The first generation of east coast emcees are cool but the ones that followed their footsteps were arrogant dicks.

Why would he go at them when he worked with all of them aside from Rakim IIRC.

Public Enemy: "Burn Hollywood Burn", AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
Kool G Rap: "Two to the Head"
Big Daddy Kane: "Burn Hollywood Burn"
EPMD: St. Ides commercial, Erick Sermon's "Ill Shit"

There are so many of them that seemed to aim their attacks at west coast "sucker emcees" and gangsta rappers in general.

Tim Dog
Masta Ace (listen to the whole Slaughtahouse album)
De La Soul ("Ego Trippin' Pt 2" started a mini feud with 2Pac)
Black Sheep
DMX (it was actually a few years ago he made some dumb comments about the west)
Jeru the Damaja

Just some that immediately came to mind. No disrespect to most of them, but their bitter attitude towards the other coast(s) was just stupid.

I allways thought westside slaughterhouse was more of a jeru the damaga diss to "come clean" he just threw 2 bars in for Common like Jay did Jayo Felony in takeover so it's not like WS slaughter house was an official answerback.

Of course Common's song was devastating. You bitchmade Gayside Gangster ass posters make me sick. Yes, Ice Cube dismantled NWA singlehandedly... then got his ass handed to him by Cypress Hil and Common brought the bitches in Westside Connection up out of them. You dweeb ass idiots talk about "Common only won cause nobody expected it". Do you know what it means to be always prepared? If Cube and friends were talented enough, they would have shut Common back down. But they didn't you ol high school pimple faced faggots. Ol "I just hit puberty, heard 3 songs off my uncle's old hip hop mixtape, and got the nerve to have an opinion" ass bitches.

They settled their differences before Cube even had the chance to respond, so no, it wasn't a full on battle. There were a few lines aimed at Common on "WS Slaughterhouse" (which was a Masta Ace mockery for that "Slaughtahouse" song) and that was all. Common made an entire diss song. That's kinda like comparing Jay-Z and Nas' disses by saying Nas won when he dedicated an entire song while Jay only used one verse to go against him.

This is what i heard too. the nation of islam got involved early to defuse this cuz both WSCG and Com have to go to each others home towns to promote they shit and as bad as the gangs is in LA and Chicago, somebody was probably gonna die for sure if this particular beef escaladed

I like AZ.. lyrically he is probably one of the best from Brooklyn and "The Format" is real sick but Jigga is way more versatile and has put in way more work over the years. Jay-Z also has more albums and better songs.
