U niggas kill me, NY has to always find it's way in every thread topic. First off why would niggas from NY get at Cube when at the time when he left N.W.A has was around NY niggas. Cube was real cool with P.E. and the Bomb Squad cats... A lot of the production for his Album was done by Bomb Squad. LOL.. U cats kill me.

The 80s generation of NY rappers were cool, but the ones from the 90s were cocky, bitter bastards that couldn't stop talking shit. That's why Cube wasn't cool with them 90s cats. You never saw Public Enemy, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim or EPMD talk shit about west coast rappers when they got big in the early to mid 90s. The next generation of NY emcees though.... they were bitter dumb asses that later got mad at the south for blowing up. The first generation of east coast emcees are cool but the ones that followed their footsteps were arrogant dicks.

I like AZ.. lyrically he is probably one of the best from Brooklyn and "The Format" is real sick but Jigga is way more versatile and has put in way more work over the years. Jay-Z also has more albums and better songs.
