Like it or not, it actually comes down to IC public opinion.
How often people agree with a poster on any given subject.
How credible does the poster seem? Can't be one of those flexin ass niggas.
How entertaining the poster is. Be it creative, interesting threads, roastin ability, exposures etc.
And generally how well is the poster liked on the IC.
Cause you can't be powerful if no one likes you, right?
