I saw that scene....but that was just Tyler trying to plant distrust inside the woman's fragile psyche about Black men as usual..even though it was pretty messed up. But at the same time it's bringing out what many women try to look for in a man having that assumption that those types are "good men" for them. But nine times outta ten you know ALL professional men aren't like that though. Tyler was just trying to put a twist into the character, which I applaud him for even though most of his shit is cliche'...

Many Black women today already see the Black man as being misguided criminal misfits who can't stay out of jail or down-low faggots who go and screw their gay lover(an exact character in the movie as well opposite Janet Jackson's husband I think) and bringing back STD's.

Tyler Perry may have made a shitty film but he didn't write it...For Colored Girls is a poem that was turned into a film

So Tyler didnt write it and still made it into the same BS he always does...interesting! I know he usually has full control over all of his movies so I assumed this 1 was the same. Havent seen it so I didnt know.

I think that the scene was uncalled for I went to see the movie just because she wanted to see it. But I needed alot of mind bleach to get that out of my mind

a rapist to me is a thugged out black man, an old greasy black man, a poor black man, or a college /graduate college aged black male thirsty for puss.
.
lmao!!!!

i really didn't feel that effected by that scene, but yo that scene reminds me of the last Gucci Mane arrest

I always find it weird when women, wether IRL or fictional, are ok with being alone with someone they haven't known for more than 1 month, or only after 1 or 2 public outings, maybe I'm paranoid but I don't play that shit, you can be prince charming and we can have the the perfect date, there's some things that just dont feel right

in terms of who I consider to be rapey type men

I have a Law and Order view, creepy white men with poor social skills

Tyler perry bascially shits on black people in every movie he makes and idiots stay supporting that bullshit..but i guess a movie about a normal black family wouldnt do well.

And if the T/S is that uninformed that she thinks asian men wouldnt bukakke her face and dont have the worst human rights track record in the 21st century, she deserves whatever anyone other than a black man gives her....

Ask an asian man what they do to you when you have more than one kid....

And fuck tyler perry gay ass

lol @ people being surprised over "nice" normal people being serial killers/rapist.

Most rapist rape not because they can't get pussy, but just because they like raping, and why would they act in a manner that would be a dead giveaway?

I wanna know what a rapist acts like tho? That bitch said a thugged out greasy black man hahahahahahahaha... I probably shouldnt say this, but she needs to get raped by a pack of wild niggers. Word to Mel Gibson.

not a well to do nerdish black man in his 30s with a suit tie and briefcase, that speaks well, has degrees, and takes women out to dinner.
and yes to me more black men seem like they would be rapist, i would never think a spanish white or asian (especially asian) man( in that order of most afraid to least afriad) would rape me under any circumstances. no offense to anyone.

i am a broke college student who happens to also be a black man..so im going to clap them cheeks forcefully when i see you.. :)

no woman should be cool being alone with a man she barely knows and they def. shouldnt know where u live thats almost inviting the unexpected to happen. No woman u barely know should have knowledge of where u live at for that matter. Ive had 2 instances that made me change my opinion about women they can be just as dangerous

Apparently, around 1 in 4 South African men has admitted to raping a woman. If every woman in South Africa were armed, things might be different.

Why do guys do that?

In the movie the guy seemed really into anika nona rose's character, he begged her to go on a date and she said yes after he asked a few times. He was so nice, like extra extra nice, she even told him that she usually doesnt trust men. She is then comfortable enough to invite him inside her home for dinner, and he takes off his clothes and rapes her. that threw me off and made me realize that men are just asswholes.

Not only she was such a happy person before the attack

has anyone seen that rape scene it made me scared to talk to anyguy? and why do guys do that, act so fake.

Do you think it's rational to assume that any man would rape you on the basis of something you saw in a movie?

I dont blame you for being shook about rape. There was a thread about prison rape a while back... and n*ggas were like "f*ck dat". You could sense the anxiety in that thread associated with the chance at potentially being a victim.

the reality is that I dont have a 1 and 4 or 1 and 6 chance of being raped(whatever the statistics are), I dont have to take preventative steps to avoid a sexual assault. If I did I would probably be a little paranoid also.

Anyways TS.. I've read your post and you clearly have issues with black men. The Perry Tyler Rape scene is just another attempt to show your discontent for the black male. If it wasn't rape.. it would be something else.

Listen... 90-96% of all men dont rape..... out of the ones who do rape... about a quarter do a ton of raping. This means that a vast majority of rapes are committed by a small group of repeat offenders. Also.. alcohol intoxication is involved in 2/3'ds of most reported rapes.

Its a serious issue and one that shouldnt be taken lightly... as the lingering psychological affects can/has impact us all
be safe

Not to be rude or disrespectful but a lot of chicks liked being fucked from the back like that . . . . .

That's messed up how that happened to her. She was the kinda chick that a guy would like to be with.

So let me get this straight the premise of this thread is to draw conclusions about real men based on a scene from a fictional movie brought to light in part by a guy who has a tendancy to demonize men and bestow unrealistic virtues on women in every film. Ok....
