In 2012 alone China built the equivalent of 22 Manhattans SMMFH. 80% of them are empty. There's a whole documentary on China's loomimg real estate bubble.

I saw this doc where they built mini versions of Paris and a couple other big places, but hardly anybody lives in them. Basically a ghost city outside of a handful of folks. I can't recall their reasoning for doing it though. I know it has something to do with money but they build cities and no one moves in. It's weird. All those people over there and they still don't spread out haha
