^^every seed would grow a different kind of apple tree. There are almost an infinite number of apple species. Kind of like how every human looks different, every appleseed would grow something different unless they do a certain process that i cant remember what its called, but they cut the stem of the apple tree and put in DNA from granny smith or red delicious (the dna could be something simple like a leaf from the tree or a piece of bark) then the young apple tree starts to develop into whatever DNA was put into it.
