Fun Fact: Heath Ledger imagined that the Joker would have haphazardly applied his own dishevelled make-up himself, so that's exactly what he did! After experimenting with cosmetics he bought from a drug store, the movie's professional artists were left to emulate Ledger's homemade design before filming.
