Word. Rottweilers were one of the few breeds I considered before I got my CC. Still might get one in a few years. I dunno. How heavy is the chain?

I think I'm about to get my CC a backpack, for like walks and shit. She got mad energy since she still a puppy and since she's a working breed, giving her some shit to carry should be cool.

hmmmmm u mean like a weighted vest??

Yeah, same shit. Except it has lil pockets on it so when we're walking or running, she can carry lil shit like water, my iPod, whatever. That's like a bonus though, the main reason is just so she can let some of that energy out.

anyone got experience on the sexes to get when you want 2 dogs, I already have a 2 year old boxer dog (boy)

he is very playful but i want to add a cane corso in the next 6 months, wondering the pros and cons (if any) of getting a male vs a female

You probably better off sticking with different sexes. Especially with those two breeds. Naturally, gotta make sure one or both are fixed unless you want some pups running around. I got a female CC and a male Pit and they get along GREAT.

which is more dominant?

That's kind of a hard question to answer. Usually, she does what the fuck she wants to him when they're playing and shit. But she's a puppy, is way more hyper and always wants to play and h's super laid back and is usually just like 'Eh, whatever.'. But then when he doesn't want to play anymore and wants to be left alone, he puts her in her place and she knows when to backup.

So I guess usually she is more dominant. *shrugs*

Aye fam I was just wondering with Rottweilers, how is the temparment on that dog ? And more importantly, if memory serves me I think you said at one point you had a cat ? How does your dog interact with your cat (or how was it when you first introduced them) and how is your dog around friends & family when they come over ??

Also do they shed a lot ? I know the GSD shed like a muthafucka so that's why I'm wondering how a Rottweiler is in comparison. In my mind I'm thinking at least w/ a rottweiler they shed black so it'd be difficult to see on my clothes & suits.

I'm stuck between getting a German Shepherd (sable coat) or a Rottweiler, but I'm just not sure. If you can, it'd be really helpful if you could answer my questions fam.

man Sion.. my boy is so cool... he's real laid back and very obedient.. i don't have to raise my voice.. and i only have to repeat myself on occasion when he thinks he's in trouble.. but even then i learned to jus say the shit once and look at him until he does it..

its almost like u can see him processing the shit in his head! hahaha

he's a big ass lap dog.. VERY clingy.. he has to touch me.. if im cookin.. he's layin on my feet.. if im sittin down he's leanin against my leg.. but i love it tho.. his protective instincts is starting to kick in though.. i drive him to the park and he's growling at people ridin they bikes in the street cause they're gettin too close too fast.. but i notice as long as i initiated communication wit strangers he's good.. iv had friends over the last few days and he's been cool.. he's still only 4 months so he loves to be pet by anyone.. he likes females though.. them bitches at the vet got him thinkin he's a PimP! hahahaha

wit the cat its actually her thats the bitch to him..

she even use to beat up my pit bulls when i had them.. they didnt fuck wit her.. her claws have since been taken out tho cause she was fuckin up the leathers in my shit.. so now she slaps my boy around. hahahaha but they cool.. they coexist.. he's jus too clumsy for her right now.. once he learns to calm down she'll be cool wit him cause she's already has accepted the fact that he's there to stay..

he's a light shedder.. but if u brush him or her every few days or so itll all get on the brush.. unless they get wet.. i have no shedding problems with mines cause the nigga gets brushed everyday damn near..

but yeh... im happy wit the decision i made to switch from Pits to Rotts.. they're like night and day..

i say do it fam..

A few more questions:

For those of you who work full time, how does your dog react when you're away ? A vet told me that dogs get tempermental when cooped up alone for too long - but that shit make no sense to me.... do you guys have dog walkers or do you just leave your dog in the yard till yall get home and walk him a few times later that day ??

my dude is a house dog.. and its pretty much always someone in the house 24/7.. wether its me.. my game or her son.. he goes hrs at time but nothin too long... but we jus put him in his crate wit his toys and he's cool.. we come back home and the nigga be on his back knocked out..

now my other work's minpin.. that bitch tears shit up u leave her alone too long.. but alot of that shit be havin to do wit pent up energy.. i like to keep my rotty tired though.. so even when we do leave him.. he aint givin a shit.. he's too exhausted to..

but i have heard about dogs havin anxiety and separation issues..

but if ur busy ill say jus get them use to u not bein there alot.. condition them to be alone at times.. jus dont go from givin them all ur attention cause they're a pup to none..

its like dealin wit a bitch.. (the human ones. lol) its go end how it starts.. so start it off right. lol

since im in here.. here go a few pics of him as well as my pa'tnas puppy pit.. we bringin them up together.. my guy is gonna be a lil more socialized cause i keep him around strangers and other dogs at the dog parks..

im tryin to warn my pa'tna about that pit he got and how he'll be if he doesnt.. but he thinks tht shit is cool.. until that mu'fucka get out and he get hit wit a lawsuit.. i learned my lesson wit my pits..
