I saw earlier in the thread people talking about how protective Akitas are and shit and hes half boxer half akita, real loyal dog. Cool with kids but he gets annoyed with the hyper ones. Done seen him attack over 4 people in his lifetime. You can't even raise your hand and pretend you gone hit somebody around him or he coming for you no matter what. Had him longer than our pits and he established that dominance over em, they not scared of him but if they approach him he quick to bitch em down and let em know. I know that if they ever got tired of that shit his ass would get handled so I hope to never see the day.
Finally had to put my boy down last friday after 10 years cause of damn cancer. Been avoidin this thread ever since then. Thinking hard about giving up the dogs for a lil while cause that shit had me fucked up, especially since he was still happy and shit. They said it was only cause the meds they had him on made him comfortable but it wasn't curing it or anything.

I know exactly how you feel. I avoided this thread for a while. Put my Lab down in June. Went in the room and held on to him as they did it too. Got his ashes back was depressed as hell for a straight month. 1st time in 25 years without a dog.

RIP to your dog bruh. I lost two of my big dogs back when I was in 11th grade. Shit royally fucked me up.
On a related sad note the kittens that were born on patio last month 3 out of the 4 died smh. The mother stopped feeding them because it she ran out of milk I guess so I took them in and took care of them for the rest of the month. It was difficult as fuck and was the closest I have come to taking care of children (thankfully) but those little fur balls were awesome. I got my uncle to give me a ride to a shelter to hopefully make sure the last surviving one would be alright and had a chance. I prefer dogs because they actually listen to you, but this kittens honestly made me very happy
This next one is of their older siblings which we also took to the shelter. There was only one who didn't want to get in the cage that is sadly in my back yard crying because hes all alone...and he probably wants to fuck my grandmas cat. These bastard got huge since spring when they were born.
