My boy is in a frat (white frat I should say) and they have these things called "weekend socials". Essentially you get a date, invite her for the social, you guys go with the rest of your frat bros and dates into the city and party it up for the weekend. This weekend they were going up to NYC and usually what happens is you book a room with a single bed to share with your date and get it in.

Well, my boy does just that.

Giving cards is a nice touch but I think it's out dated unless you got a older woman. You give cards they fill like you spent time looking for the right one.

Me and the hallmark lady were on a 1st mane basis and would let me know when new things would come in like one chick I was messing with loved winnie the pooh and they would have these little figurines get a couple and a card....
