If Im not mistaken, I believe its a pagan holiday to celebrate the god of fertility. Hence, the easter bunny.

All i know is clothing stores make a killing off it. Cant knock that.

Real talk. The goddess of fertility's name is Ishtar. Hence the word Easter. Fertility, eggs. Get the connection? The messiah was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. Tell me how Friday night through Sunday morning is 3 days and 3 nights? Easter is not the resurrection of the mashiac. Catholicism twisted up everything.
