Sounds like WWE is rounding up all the chicks in the indie game...

KANNA who is now in Indefinitely rest for wrestling appeared at NXT TAKEOVER brooklyn.

She is introduced as KANNA with Ric Flair and SGT Slaughter.

I am told that KANNA signed with WWE a few weeks ago.(I can’t say who told me.) But I am not told that she appears on the show tonight.

KANNA did not take WWE Tryout at Ryogoku Sumo Hall last month. She was checked beforehand.

I am sure WWE will soon officially announce this contract. Good luck, KANNA!

Has independent wrestler Athena signed a developmental contract with WWE?

Speculation coming out of Texas is that she has signed a developmental contract and will be finishing out her Indy dates soon.

Just last night she wrestled the last match in her home promotion ACW wrestling and was telling fans she had “good prospects” coming up.

As noted, last night’s episode of WWE RAW saw The Dudley Boyz return to WWE television after ten years. The Dudleys returned as a huge surprise, and got a huge pop from the Brooklyn crowd as they took out WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day.

The Dudleys are back full-time with WWE and will be travelling with them on the road for live events, including their advertised Smackdown return this Thursday. It’s speculated, but still unconfirmed that the team has signed a multi-year contract with WWE.

According to reports, Bubba and Devon were hidden from everyone at RAW last night, and almost no one knew about the return until they were near the curtain to make their entrance. Several top WWE officials were some of the few to know beforehand, and then the production team knew as they cued up the video, music and pyro, as well as having merchandise already produced.

Undertaker Return

The Undertaker is expected to be off of WWE television until it is time to begin the build towards Wrestlemania 32 next year. As far as Brock Lesnar returning, he is not scheduled for any more WWE events until the advertised “Return To MSG” WWE Network special that will be broadcast on October 3rd.
