WWE.com has published a video of Paul Heyman recalling Steve Austin's brief tenure in Extreme Championship Wrestling.

"Steve had two matches in ECW, I wish he had 2000," Heyman says. "He wrestled Mikey Whipwreck at the November to Remember 1995 for the ECW World Title and he wrestled Mikey Whipwreck and The Sandman in a Three-Way Dance for the ECW World Title in December 1995. I wanted to build ECW around Steve Austin as the World Champion. I even pitched to Steve winning the Title at the November to Remember 1995, but he was such a fan of Mikey Whipwreck, he thought it would be better if Mikey won the match and also, Steve thought it was better for his character."

Heyman continues, "And this is where Steve was so ahead of the game, far ahead of everybody else. Steve thought it was better for his character to lose and bitch about it, cause then he had something else to be angry about. Then he had another reason to push that character all the way to the line, all the way to the wall. And he knew that in losing, he could become a bigger star than if he won the ECW World Title.

"It was just so smart. He was so far ahead of everybody else."

-- With the NBA season up in the air, WWE is looking to book RAW in bigger cities over the next few months. There have also been discussions about trying to get a big name NBA star to work an angle at WrestleMania 28 in Miami next year. In recent years, WWE officials have expressed interest in using Shaq or LeBron James for angles.

Matt Hardy and his girlfriend Reby Sky posted a picture of themselves naked on Twitter. You can check it out at http://twitpic.com/7en54w

Reby Sky noted several days ago that Hardy was home for a visit as part of his rehab program. He's expected to return to rehab through December.

We wish him the very best in getting well. Judging from that photo, it appears he's doing just fine!

Diana Hart Smith, the outspoken mother of Harry Smith (a/k/a David Hart Smith), continues to criticize WWE brass following his recent departure from the organization. She attributes his lack of success to company heads having it in for her son.

"I don't think WWE wanted to see DH/Harry succeed there. Maybe (Davey Boy Smith) had ribbed an existing agent who took it out on Harry," she wrote on Twitter.

"Not sure of the WWE Creative's logic, but they didn't want fans to see how exceptional Harry is."

The third generation wrestler echoed similar sentiments during a recent interview with Live Audio Wrestling.

"The big complaint that I had with WWE was just that they never gave me a fair chance, ever. We had a good deal with the tag team title run and everything, but guys like Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, they're obviously very good talents and big guys and everything, but if they had given me the rocket like they had given those two guys, I’m sure that with my family's lineage and going over to Canada and the UK, they could have done some really good business. For whatever reason, they didn't," Harry said.

"I'm not gonna point any fingers at anybody, but I think that there's people up there that probably didn't like my family, or maybe my Dad ribbed too many of the guys that are up top now. That's basically the way that it happened, and I'm glad to be gone really. I don't want to be wasting my time at a place that doesn't appreciate me, or doesn't want to do anything with me."

Harry is now training mixed martial arts full-time in Tampa, Florida and looking to make his debut next year. He spars extensively with Josh Barnett, a former UFC Heavyweight Championship. Diana feels they are an unstoppable force.

She tweeted, "I think Harry and Josh training would be comparable to the power of a tsunami and genius of rocket scientists, who don't know 'tap out' definition."

I never thought DH Smith had anything worth while. I've seen a lot of dudes who I watched beforehand and be like... them dudes should be higher than they are. With DH, I was just like... yo why is this dude on here? His matches were okay, and he doesnt have any charisma or no natural presence. Guys like Ziggler and Sheamus are getting the spots he wants right now.

Some fools never learn....

Reby Sky stated on her Formspring account that she is able to bail partner Matt Hardy out of jail following his arrest Friday night for violating a court order, but chooses not to at this time.

Sky was asked Saturday if she would be posting bail that day and responded:

“Let him sit there. And think. Hard.”

She wrote Saturday night regarding his whereabouts:

“I’m reading a lot of ridiculous things on the ‘dirtsheets’ tonight, so to clear things up: I could have bailed him out & did not. He’s still in jail. Have fun with that.”

She added:

“He’s understandably upset but not angry – He knows he has no right to be at this point.”

Hardy announced on September 19, 2011 that he was checking himself into a WWE-sponsored rehabilitation center for the next three months. It was later reported that entering rehab was one of the conditions for Hardy’s release from custody following his third arrest within a month. On Friday, Hardy was kicked out of a court-ordered rehab for failing a breathalyzer test. He was arrested for violating the court order when he returned to Moore County in North Carolina, and was booked into the Moore County Detention Center on a million dollar bond.

CM Punk did an interview with The New York Daily News today and took a few shots at The Rock.

"You know, the thing about that is, he's not around. He's not around. It doesn't help morale when the guy goes right from his limo to the dressing room to the dressing room to the ring. He's very bourgeois Hollywood," Punk said.

When asked whether he thought The Rock had really "returned" to WWE, Punk said: "He came back, he did WWE Raw after that. He said he was never gonna leave. And the next time we saw him is a month later. Yeah, it does bother me. A little hello would have been nice. He could have run by with his own entourage."

Punk then went on to compare his feelings between The Rock and John Cena, saying "I have my beef with John Cena, and I have my things that I don't like Cena, but you know what? I try to tell him everyday. For The Rock to criticize, come on."

When asked if he thought The Rock was a "Diva", he said: "I can't say that. At least the WWE Divas say hi to me in the halls."

John Morrison's original WWE contract has expired. He agreed to an extension through the end of November. His last announced appearance takes place at next Monday's RAW SuperShow in Columbia, South Carolina. One source notes that Morrison's feelings towards WWE are somber. "His heart is broken," the source said. It'll be interesting to see if he re-signs with the company. As of several weeks ago, many people expected him to leave.

John “Bradshaw” Layfield, who was notorious for being abusive towards his co-workers during his WWE tenure, went off on a rant against former colleague Marc Mero Sunday night on Twitter.

“If Johnny B Bad had sucked it would have been an improvement!” Layfield wrote regarding Mero, who he worked with from 1996 to 1998. “Mero absolutely sucks as a wrestler and human being. Sorry to u fans of his.”

He continued, “Sorry, can’t describe in 140 characters why Mero is a POS. No one who knew him sticks up for him-that should tell u something.”

The posts have both since been deleted.

It should be noted that in June and July 2007, Mero commented on the Chris Benoit murder-suicide, appearing on numerous cable news programs and criticizing both the wrestling industry and WWE. His comments drew the ire of WWE employees such as Ken Anderson, who labeled him a “goof” and a “silly bastard”, and Dave “Fit” Finlay, who claimed Mero had “nothing to do with this business.” Mero now works as an inspirational speaker in Orlando, Florida and heads the non-profit organization Champion of Choices, Inc. According to his Facebook page, he is the “happiest person on the planet.”

Former WWE Champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield stated on Twitter that he was contacted by WWE to appear at Survivor Series.

Layfield wrote, "Not at Survivor Series and not watching-too late for me. 15 years ago my SS debut Tim White counted me out by mistake! Big screw up! It was my big push and Tim White counted 3 by mistake, first time ear pieces were used and someone was in his ear. Killed my push:)"

He continued, "I'm not watching cause it's too late for me-got early morning tee time in Bermuda! Was asked if I was available by WWE, but I'm not. #golf"

Evan Bourne's suspension for his first violation of WWE's Talent Wellness Program has generated a great deal of controversy amongst talent as some feel a double standard is in place.

Bourne, who's real name is Matthew Korklan, was suspended for thirty days on November 1, 2011 after testing positive for Spice, a synthetic marijuana brand. Bourne and another wrestler higher up the card smoked the marijuana substitute drug at a party, yet he was the only one of the two to be suspended. The other wrestler was told he had failed for marijuana, which results in a $2,500 fine, as opposed to a thirty-day suspension for synthetic marijuana.

According to a source, the wrestler in question is a participant in tonight's Survivor Series match featuring John Cena and The Rock against R-Truth and The Miz.

This has led to questions about whether WWE's drug testing procedure is flawed or whether talent are treated differently depending on their status in the organization.

This would not be the first time in which WWE reprieved a top-level talent who had violated their Talent Wellness Program. On August 30, 2007, Sports Illustrated named Randy Orton as one of fourteen contracted and former WWE performers to have purchased pharmaceuticals from an online pharmacy (Signature Pharamacy), a violation of the Talent Wellness Program. Specifically, Orton received somatropin, nandrolone, stanozolol between September 2004 and February 2007, which occurred after the "no drugs from online sources" rule was instituted. However, Orton was the lone contracted performer not to be suspended by WWE. WWE did not suspend Orton because he had already been suspended for a drug policy violation in August 2006, resulting in double jeopardy. The ruling, however, appeared nonsensical since Orton continued to receive pharmaceuticals following the suspension. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt claimed last year in a letter to Irv Muchnick that "no action was taken against Randy Orton because he was not on any customer list for Signature Pharmacy ever provided to us by District Attorney Soares."

It's a one-two hitter, if you smoke it like reg. weed you'll trip shit.

I was in a trance. The sound of a basketball kept ringing in my head, every time the ball bounced my body would ripple with a vibration. Shit was loud too, and I couldn't stop moving, it was like I was cleaning myself lol shit was weird. It only lasted like 30 minutes, after that, I went to the backyard and burnt the rest in a small pile.
