i hate that they might go that route just because of the build up for the match. im hoping its a clean finish and whatever story they do with the rock or punk for WM gets started at tomorrow's raw or elimination chamber

According to Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net, WWE had contacted former WWE and WCW wrestler Diamond Dallas Page to be a possible entrant in tonight's Royal Rumble 30-man Battle Royal match.

Powell's report noted that its not sure whether it was a case of informal talks that did not go anywhere or if they just couldn't come to terms.
