Wale was on the platinum single "No hands" that was in every club and car from Cali to Carolina...then he had the hit "That Way" that's been hot in the hood.

He went on an HBCU tour and really got in touch with his base and the Black female demographic who buy albums.

MMG did an incredible job of marketing and promotion, they released videos, vlogs, and video-interviews almost daily and used social media platforms to keep Wale in rotation.

Wale was on magazine covers, blogs, websites, 106&park, Bet awards, MTV2, and radio stations around the U.S.

Self Made gave Wale the street-cred he was missing and Neyo, Jeremiah, and Miguel gave him the sensitive-cred he needed to bait the brauds.

Wale did an excellent job of self-promotion on Twitter by getting in touch with the fans also.

When Ambition dropped it was automatic.

(All Ross first weeks have been higher with the exception of DTR)
