For it literally happened in the book of Daniel on the night when Babylon was captured. But the way Babylon is described as being destroyed by total destruction in Jeremiah 50-51, Isaiah 13-14 and 47 did not happen when it was conquered some 2500 years ago. Therefore there is a far fulfillment of those passages which will be fulfilled in the destruction of Babylon the Great.
