This album is straight to me, I'd give it a 3.5/5

I love "Wild Side", "Addresses", and "Sorry"

The joant with R Kelly and Ball grew on me. The song with Pink is commercial as hell, but I like it somewhat.

That blue bikini or whatever it's called is popcorn rap and lame as hell.

I remember when TI use to sell alot on first day release in Atlanta alone.

Why that nigga put Meek Millz Mr. Clark megaphone ass on G Season? Nigga should've put his homie Killer kill from Adamsville on that shss.

Matter fact, TI can slick sell alone without all them big name features. He should've put Dro, D.O.P.E, Ball & G etc on there to promote his artists

179K in today's market is pretty good IMO tho. Only a handful or rappers can sell more in their first week.

Especially since the album hasn't had a truly crossover single released yet. "Ball" and "Trap Back Jumping" are more like urban/street singles.

The Akon or Pink singles (if he releases either as a single) should get TI a boost in sales.

fuck the right now numbers. they'll craft singles out of other songs on the joint, and it'll sell. it will at the very least go gold over time.

but again, fuck the numbers and all that extra critical shit, the music is dope. i paid money for it.

Most of it sounds uninspired to me. I think it's pretty solid but still not exactly overflowing with life or energy. That cover is hard as hell though.

I don't see how that number is an L. He's been in the game for over 10 years and released a good amount of albums. Don't know who was expecting him to sell 300k+. Only manipulative trend hopping ass rappers like Jay can maintain that level of success for a long period. Rap is very fickle.

After Big Boi did 30k first week I think any ten year vet should be happy to crack 100k+. Especially based on where Tip could be in life right now.

Yea he's 10 years in but he just blew up 6 years ago so to the public(general and rap) he's only been known for 6 years which is still good but it's not like Nas who blew up in 96 or Jay in 98. People got bored of T.I quicker.

I don't think people got bored of T.I. quicker. He went to prison at the peak of his career commercially (2008 with Paper Trail). Then when he was building momentum for a comeback after the prison stint, he went right back to jail. The fact that he can still do decent numbers after many of his fans felt let down by No Mercy and him going back to prison speaks volumes. Most artists would be over at this point.
