Pretty good album...the comparisons to Setbacks are not needed. I know it is natural to compare artist to themselves. I wrote a review for Setbacks for Schoolboy's manager, and he really enjoyed my review. I have written a couple reviews of TDE projects, and I honestly think he is the only one who reads them.

On my second listen "2 Raw" is definitely my favorite song.

This album is one of the hardest releases this year...

However I still liked "Setbacks" a little more...Setbacks just had that gritty westcoast recorded in a hazy studio vibe to it...

HNC does have its serious highlights tho...I've kept "BLessed" and "Raymond" on repeat since I copped it..My only qualm with Schoolboy Q is that his wordplay and subject matter gets repetitive after a few spins..He needs to stop using "Fuck" and "Bitch" in every other line
