Say what u want bout Rozay, he don't make too many wack tracks and his production and beat selection is top notch, plus u know he'll have some ill features.

think about that for a second...you're giving him props for beat selection...something that takes no talent to do. no hard work, like actually making the beat. just choosing it.

is anyone else a bit tired of his shit? like every song has the same flow/lyrics/ad libs...

he should have taken off a year and focused on his artists, while still doing features

It takes some talent because some rappers like Nas, J Cole (Mainly due to his own terrible production), Cannibus, Royce etc have the worst beat selection and can't pick decent beats at all. Their fans call them out on their poor choice of production

Cant say i agree, having an ear for beats/production is def. A talent. Not all artist select beats that compliment their voices or delivery. Nas is a goat to me but he hasnt always picked the best beats to display his talents on. Ross picks beats that allow him to thrive and he is nowhere near nas lyrically.

Rick Ross and Jay-z are two of the best rappers at picking production compare to their peers imo.

It still amazes me that an artist of Rick Ross' status doesn't have a Platinum LP yet. Something about that seems bizarre. Even knowing what we know about sales in the record bizz recently.
