The only difference is he pulls the strings himself rather than muscle. If he returns to the streets in season 3 they should correct that. Not really believable he got the dough and the pull but no muscle and,he pullin hits himself

The whole point of Ghost putting the work in himself,

is because those people know who he is..

It don't make sense to hire someone else,

because whoever he hires will also know who he is..

It's only right that he do it himself..

Plus, having muscle attracts too much attention,

and leaves room for them to possibly tell on you one day,

Its one thing if ghost was a childhood name he picked up, and maybe it is which is why everyone is so cavalier when they say it, but to me, it seems like a real "ghost" would be the type of dude kevin Spacey describes in The Usual Suspects when he describes Keyser Soze or however you spell it. People have heard of him, but he is the boogeyman essentially b/c people say he's real, but no one has ever really seen him
