I did mean to correct one thing in your previous post though but forgot to. Nintendo been in the black and not the red since the fiscal quarter before Iwata's death. So investing in them within the past 2 years would've been a worthy investment.

Did you convert the Japanese Yen into American dollars for the full fiscal year net income ? I'm pretty sure they lost money in 2012 and 2014. They barely made money last year.

To each his own tho, I don't recommend investments for the short term. Cuz in that case there are no "bad" investments unless it's blatantly obvious.

As a huge advocate for Nintendo I'm telling yall given it's current valuation and price it's not a good time to invest in it.

They went back into profitability last year and have stayed there since for the most part.

my top guys now.. finally caught a Machop!

Man at work today I was in the passenger seat and this white dude drove through a cemetery that had like 5 poke stops in it. He didn't warn me or shit, he just turned right into that bitch. What's crazy is there was 4 people already there walking around. One dude even went up to the car and said there ain't nothing good in here. Wow. In a fuckin cemetery man. There was even two other cars there before us driving around. I never felt so horrible before.

I cleaned up though. Got 40 pokeballs and evolved my evee, weedle, and ratta.

damn u live by a big body of water @"bless the child" ?

Yeah. It's this lil spot where I live where cats be out there with the lures on the pokestops all night (I'm dead ass serious about this, literally all night). I go chill over there for like an hour everyday after I workout and reap the benefits lol

So many Magikarp show up that I catch them for the hell of it. I got like 320 magikarp candies in like 4 or 5 days. I'm about to cop another Gyarados in a few days lol

If Nintendo owns part of both Niantic and The Pokemon Company (which they do) how don't they get paid off this? Especially when outside parties like Apple and Google are making like 30% off this because they're hosting it on their platforms?

Well that's the thing, we don't know how profits are divided between the two or if they've figured out how to make money off of it. There's dozens of companies in the same predicament. You don't pay money to d/L or play it. I'd wait until they actually start posting TANGIBLE figures in the annual report stating how they do and how much they take off of it. Otherwise you're throwing money into thin air hoping it turns to gold.

You said the same thing when Facebook first dropped though.

Nintendo's market value has now surpassed Sony's. Sony in it's entirety btw not just their video game division. Geesh.

"I've never seen the trend of such a big company's shares changing so quickly in such a short period of time," said Takashi Oba, senior strategist at Okasan Securities.

"Virtual reality and augmented reality have been a focus of the market but hardly anyone was expecting Nintendo in this area. Suddenly Nintendo has become an AR-related stock," said a fund manager at a Japanese asset management firm, who declined to be named as he is not allowed to discuss individual shares.

Plus neither Niantic or The Pokemon Company are even on the market. So the only way for public shareholders to even see a penny off this craze is by investing in Nintendo.

Remember when Nintendo bought back a shitload of shares from the Yamauchi's a while back? That ROI must be looking pretty lovely right now.

Also I'm sure they're speeding up development on that Animal Crossing app now. That shit is bound to be a monster out in Japan for sure.
