The comparison is due to YOU and OTHERS arguments that postseason success makes the difference in judging a QBs value.

And dilfer has had more success than others in the postseason (Marino etc..), therefore, by YOUR LOGIC, he is better than those QBs.

I'll give you Eli's first ring because the defense kept Eli in alot of games. But the second ring not counting the SF NFC Championship game Eli down the stretch put up some of his best numbers.
