You obviously spend a lot of time and energy thinking about this (which is strange). Why all the emotions for two people you never met? You act like you actually knew them.

I'm not sure how warning someone in advance to be careful about the shady characters they're hanging around is backstabbing them but have it your way tough guy. Pac was in way over his head in NY and messing with some people that he shouldn't have been. Big tried to warn him but Pac was like a groupie for gangsters so he didn't listen and got shit up. Big was supposed to go to war for Pac over that on some kamikaze shit? He had to live in NY with those people all around him... he couldn't just run back to LA and hide behind Suge.

Don't reply to me after you typed an essay and then talk emotions....

BIGs half ass warning does not excuse the cowardliness he showed after the 94 shooting.

BIG himself was rollin with Hench "Big Brother" and Jack as well as King Tut....He used the shooting to promote himself and left the scent of controversy in the air with the media pointing fingers.

If he didnt want to BEEF with Pac he should firstly told Puff he aint putting out "I Shot Ya" again and secondly gone to see Pac...beef over

Nobody is saying BIG should have picked up a burner and shot niggas, however nothing was stopping him visiting his hommie, but he chose to multiply off the shooting to build his GANGSTA image

BIG would not have died for going to talk to Pac.....he'd still be alive right now if he had

You are assuming that Biggie warned Pac because Biggie said so and because Bigge's crew said so. What proof do you have that he warned him about anything. NY cats love to mention that shit. Yo man, just because you tell someone that something is bad doesn't mean that you shouldn't call them when you know something is gonna happen to them. That's bitch ass and a coward's response you just gave for real. Biggie didn't warn Pac about that night. Who cares that he warned him about dudes he was still hanging with himself? That shit don't even make no sense. I don't think Biggie warned Pac about Henchman. Even if he did that still don't mean that he ain't suppose to call his friend when he knows something about to pop off. On top of all that, he said Pac was a friend but he never called or visited the dude in prison. What type of bitchass shit is that?

Yeah the whole situation showed Big's character. Im a Biggie fan but his actions showed that Big was kind of a coward. The fact that he used to beat Lil Kim says alot about him lol. But anyway, Pac took a gun charge for him and the last thing Big needed was gun charge because D-Roc took one for him in 92, Pac used to give him money, weed and hoes, Pac used to bring Biggie on tour with him and stop his set to give Biggie and the fledgling bad boy label shine, he shouted him out in multiple interviews, promoted his music, Pac was even wearing BadBoy shirts at one point.............so it is strange that Big couldn't even give him one phone call or write a letter, wow lol. So yeah it was probably something deeper going on like maybe Henchmen, Jack or Puff got to Big which is still cowardice on Bigs part. Like Pac said "Fear is Stronger than Love". And then Badboy, Big and Lil Kim were dropping alot of sublinal stuff but in interviews they would try and come off like they were above all that lol. Puf even went at Pac on the clue mixtapes in the summer of 96. I still cant believe that people dont think Pac wasn't the least bit justified in his anger lol, like how would ya'll handled the situation if it was ya'll?

And people say that Pac got tough after Deathrow but it seems like all his legal troubles (shooting cops, the numerous fights, causing riots) came before Deathrow. I dont remember him being in legal trouble at all on Deathrow, he was just making a bunch of diss tracks.

I see Pac stans are still very hormonal and irrational after all these years. Just because you'd take a bullet for Pac doesn't mean Biggie wanted to. Of course he was scared and cautious. You could call that cowardice but it's easy to be a hypothetical gangster. This was actually real life for these dudes.

I'd keep pressing your buttons but I don't really give enough of a shit about two people i didn't know that died over a decade ago to keep this up.

true story

not only all that but he used the shooting to promote his single, it was put out 9 days after Pac went to the pen....The media were pointing fingers and BIG just earned himself a gangsta image, his record was being talked about both the a and b side...puff was the mastermind behind it all, but BIG let himself be used for the money even if it meant running over his friend.....Pac said he waited until the end of April, 3 months, he said he thought BIG would try to get at him, but he never did. Then they put out a vibe interviews tellin mad lies, instead of goin to see the nigga, which basically was the start of the beef.

scared of what exactly? BIG had nothing to worry about, what would they have done to him if he had gone and sat with Pac?

he was more concerned about making money off the drama than defusing a situation and then acting all innocent when Pac came out the pen mad as hell with some heat for his ass.....

Pacs problem was with Hench and Jack.....the Puff and Big thing could have been avoided if niggas had chopped it up when there was still time....BIG let the money and his association with gangstas turn him into a cowardly snake...

Biggie did the right thing and rode for his team. Unfortunately, it got him killed.

2Pac did the right thing, found a new squad and rode for them. Unfortunately, it led to the same result.

RIP 2Pac & Biggie

PS: If BIG is a coward for how he handled things then Pac is a dry snitch for how he handled things. Therefore, it's equal.

Pretty weak of BIG, if true.

Calling Nas for help on going back at Pac! "Long Kiss Goodnight" was also a hoe move IMO

Old Head checking in. I agree. When Nas first came out I thought, he was biting Rakim and I really didn't mess with his Music to tough. But Nas has grown and done so much Music it's hard to not see he has taken what Rakim and G-Rap did to perfection up another notch. I still put G-rap and Rakim higher on my list of MC's because, without them Nas wouldn't have had the blueprint to build what he has.

Different era.

He's got way more material due to the money in rap increasing exponentially.

IMO he hasn't passed them in terms of impact tho.

I think Nas has more material because, of his talent in addition to having great MC's like Rakim, and Grap to study from. I certainly agree, that he hasn't surpassed them impact.
