Yeah those are classic joints. But Remi has also been known to produce some of Nas' worst beats.

I just don't understand why Nas would wanna work with him on every damn album knowing that he's inconsistent and that if you look at all the beats he's produced for Nas, the wack ones outweigh the good ones.

Nas should keep working with maybe RZA, Premo, maybe test the waters with the producers from Illmatic like Pro, Tip etc. And if he wanna work with new producers he should go see Justice League and shit like that. But Remi is way too inconsistent imo.

You make an excellent point here. I don't discredit Remi based on his duds, but I can't figure out the reasoning for not working with Premier or Pete Rock. The quote is vague beyond Remi tho so ill have my hopes up until I hear otherwise.

Big Sean has been extra wack. His production is good, that song "I don't think they want it" could have been potentially great with a good lyrical presence, but he was wack. To me, he is just a SLIGHTLY more focused version of Wayne in his songs lately, and I haven't been impressed by anything since the cypher.
