Excuse me, I heard that Common was suppose to be on Fried Chicken but couldn't because on scheduling issues. This was a rumor.

NAS said it in an interview that he wanted common to be on 'Fried chicken' , i think it was a radio interview, but i can't remember which one.

Great album. I think Untitled is the best produced Nas album since Stillmatic. "Hero", "Slave & The Master", "Testify", "Fried Chicken" had great beats and "America", "Ya'll My Niggas", "Untitled (Lousi Farrakhan)" and a couple of others had beats that were above average. I don't really think any of the beats on the album were sub-par or garbage, but that's just me. It was a 4/5 album in '08 and was the best Hip Hop album of that year IMO.

Co-sign this. I gave it a 8.0/8.5 out of 10. Maybe a 9 for difficulty. Once again, Nas had a potential classic on his hands but put some of his best joints on the ****** mixtape- Legendary, Nigga hatred, What it is that fit into the theme shoulda replaced that Alien joint and one other weak joint I cant remember. Other than that, Nas came thru with content, substance and lyrics. Testify is too ill- great beats with some black angst, Fried chicken, SlyFox, Farakhan and ****** were my joint. The progression from HHID is clear. Nas needs themes/projects now to do this rap thing- its the only thing that inspires him it seems.
