He's right though, it's sad that after over 9 nominations, he's never won a Grammy (And they snubbed "Distant Relatives with zero nominations). He's never won any of the Big Awards like billboard or American Music award. This is huge, I'm so happy for Esco. He's had one of the most under appreciated careers in music.

I didn't see that Jay won an award for that Super Bowl commercial but Jay Z always wins awards. For an artist like NaS to win one for the type of Documentary he had was a huge Win. Jay Z won one cause it was a rehash of "Run This Town". NaS's Emmy he actually narrated the documentary. LOL @ people trying to Hate on Esco after this. I got a song for ya'll:

Again, NaS, PRODUCED, DIRECTED AND SCORED his documentary = Takes More Talent then having a rehash song that was already a hit on a commercial for the Super bowl. Also NaS's story was more deep and deal with a real issue. Jay got the award cause he was Jay. But congrats to both:
