I would say yeah, but there was still like a minute and a half left in the round so he was prolly gonna lose anyway, I would've waited til he at least went down to stop it though. It's karma though as Dos Anjos' win over Bendo was stopped too early in my opinion.

But really tho its cool Alvarez won, he's been fighting for a long, long time. I remember watching his fights in fucking Dream at like 5 am in my parents basement cause it was in Japan.

I think 5 rounds are only for title fights though. Silva has a chance, but it's kinda hard for me to see him at this stage being able to pull it off against DC. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets finished. And if he does, he should retire, imo

Id favor Silva in his prime but DC has closed the skill gap over the years coupled with Silva slowing down. DC wont strike with Silva just from a respect factor so expect lots of GNP maybe Silva can sub him but DC winning due to lay n pray or ground and pound more likely scenario.
