This shows it a little better. He didn't catch him flush but it did get him around the eye. That must have been enough I guess.

i fought someone and clipped them in the eye like that...they started back peddling and then threw up the white flag

His name is Anthony "The Animal" Terrell. No serious martial arts or wrestling background as kids but me and him fought more street fights than i can name and played every sport available. We did our own Copoeira (fans of only the strong movie) I joined the army and he decided to take it serious. Since he's been training to fight. Not gain belts but exchange blows using every technique available to him. To me thats an advantage.

But anyway check out the promo above and I'll remind you all when the fight is online.

You mean he acts an ass and acts like he has nothing to fear from the competition.

Yeah, he does. The difference is Silva has earned the right to be like that, this dude hasn't.

Actually if you do your research him holding his hands down n moving like that is a very common style in his discipline and it happens to work for him in actual MMA competition. Stop hating.

I mean his flash and movement reminds me of the Spider, (his build probably attributes to it also) Who are we to say what this man has earned the right to do.

Nigga, shut up. Nobody is talking about him holding his arms down. I'm talking about his general cockiness and disregard for his competition. I've watched all of his fights. Dude is just an ass. It's not even comparable to Silva. Silva might do some wild shit during the match, but he always show his opponents respect. This dude is just an asshole, and he knows it.

If you a fan, that's cool, but I don't like people like that especially ones who have even fought anybody. Dude has been can crushing which is expected given where he's at in his career now, but him talking and acting like he's done something when he really hasn't is just silly.

Nigga, stop being salty. If he wants to put on a show let him. You don't have to like it. It's your opinion, but you seem very mad about it for some reason.

Recap

With a pair of bouts featuring two very determined finalists vying for a title shot, it came as no surprise that both fights would come down to the wire.

The main event of the evening featured a light heavyweight final between Emanuel Newton and Mikhail Zayats. Both men had a tremendous amount of respect for each other, landing accurate strikes in a very even bout which saw Newton take control in the first round with his wrestling, Zayats win the second with a late flurry and then Newton dig deep in the third to drop Zayats and ride out to a decision victory with a late takedown.

Both men were scratching and clawing for every inch in this battle and it came as no surprise that the third round would decide it. Newton looked a step slow for much of the fight on the feet, but he did what he needed to do with a perfect 1-2 combination that hurt the Russian and put him in control of the final frame.

In the end, Newton's big right hand in the third was enough to sway the judges into giving him the unanimous decision victory 29-28 on every scorecard. He'll now get an opportunity to avenge his last loss against Attila Vegh, this time with a title at stake.

The lightweight finals featured a surprising knockout artist against one of the promotion's scrappiest fighters as Saad Awad took on David Rickels. Despite Awad finishing both his tournament bouts in less than a minute via knockout, he couldn't gain an early edge on "The Caveman" standing and instead relied on takedowns and top position to steal the first round.

The second looked like it was going to be more of the same as Awad consistently took Rickels down, dropped some elbows and right hands and was seconds away from being up 20-18 when Rickels popped to his feet right at the end of the frame.

With a sense of urgency, Rickels unloaded a huge flurry of strikes against Awad along the fence, cracking him with some left hands and then landing a huge right just miliseconds before the bell that sent Awad to the cage floor. When Awad did not get up to get back to his corner, the referee called a stop to the bout, granting Rickels the incredible come-from-behind victory.

Nothing to be salty about. Honestly, dude hasn't even made it far enough in the game for me to care. I just don't like people that are cocky for no reason. It ain't just the way dude fights. I've seen interviews with him. He just strikes me as an asshole. I'm calling it how I see it. I don't have to be mad to do that. You like dude? Cool, I don't. It's just that simple.

I can agree to disagree. People rub people the wrong way all the time.

I don't like fighters who think they are gods after they crush a few tomato cans before they even fought anyone who had the potential to make them go through adversity to win.

Am I the only person watch The Ultimate Fighter? This dude Uriah... son is certified Monster Inc. It's one thing to beat the people you're supposed to beat. It's another thing to eject dudes like a Super Create-a-Player. Bubba got slumped in 8 seconds officially but he was out cold in 3.

Fuck that shit... He is beating tomato cans who beat themselves before they even step into the cage. Freaking Bubba looked like he had seen the holy ghost when he heard he was to fight Uriah. Dude was coming up with one injury or the other so as not to fight the dude.

Dont get me wrong, Uriah looks like a solid fighter and i hope he destroys thats cocky mfer, Josh, if they both get to the finals..... But lets not over hype the dude.....
