People are really exaggerating the significance of what GSP did. Yes, he became the UFC Middleweight Champion. How? By being given a championship match his first fight. It's not like he came back from four years, fought his way up the ranks, and took the championship. He fought one fight against someone that people were just calling overrated, and he won. I like GSP, but ya'll live in the moment way too much.

Half the people Jones fought were champions or former champions too, and none of them beat him. Can GSP say the same?

I'm not saying GSP shouldn't be in the discussion for GOAT. He definitely is. I'm just saying that calling him the undisputed GOAT because he beat Michael Bisping is some reactionary shit.
