I have no idea what he walks around at but fought at 170 when he normally fights at 145.

He was whooping Nate's ass and gassed. Who knows why. Lack of training, nerves, who knows. Nate won tho, he showed some real heart and showed the kind of composure you get from being battle tested.

I like the Diaz boys. I don't know what it's like where you guys are from but their fans are the worst here.

Isn't that how the Diaz bros. always win fights though. They absorb damage until the opponent has nothing left to give or gets lazy, and then they capitalize.

The amount of damage the Diaz bros. absorb is kind of misleading because they show damage so easily in the form of cuts and bruising. Whereas I don't think I've ever seen a bruise or a cut on Anderson Silva.

I don't see where that's misleading though. Both of the Diaz Bros. seem to take way more hits head on than Silva. Even in his bad fights Silva really doesn't take that many hits, and even when he does he rolls with most of them. The Diaz Bros. basically spend half their fights walking into punches.

Another perfect example of this and one of my favorite fights of all-time is Chris Lytle vs. Dan Hardy. All Hardy did in the leadup was talk shit about how everyone was terrified to stand and bang with him but it was him shooting for a takedown late in the 3rd Round after getting his ears boxed off for most of the fight only to be tapped out with a mounted guillotine seconds later. If you haven't seen this fight do yourself a favor and watch it.

Oh yeah, that's true. I wasn't really talking about showing damage though. I was talking about styles. Like them dudes will literally walk into punches for 3 rounds if it will wear the opponent down.
