i would be sick to if this was a real upset but it ain't shit was throwed to many ways to point that out I think silva just gave the belt to vitor

nigga please...

shit happens... get over it.

nigga had a god complex and paid for it.

he still has a few more fights in him to where he can retire legacy still in tact.

he's not ken shamrock for christ sake... jeez

You sound crazy. His legacy will always be in tact. Ali lost, Tyson lost etc., not to mention, dude is 38 years old!! Everything he does now is icing on the cake. No one expected him to dominate for too much longer at his age in this sport.

He's basically Jordan on the Wizards right now. His prime was over way back when. They should have gave him his superfight against GSP and let him end his career the way he wanted to, instead of matching him up against all these new guys that no one besides the UFC geeks know of.

Yea I know..but I'm sayin his haters would loove to see the half white half mexican nigga whiphis ass...I don't see why ppl glad silva lost he seemed like a likeable dude ain't like he was flashy or a loud mouth shit the can't even speak english
Cause he had the championship for what 7 years close to 8 years, you would think Silva was adrien broner with the amount of hate he gets.

I dunno i think most MMA fans (who didnt start since Season 1 of TUF in 2006) have Fedor number 1 and Asilva number 2... clearly of all time and most have GSP at number 3. He's too cocky for the lame... you know... but I love Asilva and in a rematch I wouldn't be surprised if he TKO'd Weidman at all. In fact Asilva is only number 2 to Fedor due to Fedor being undefeated for a longer period.. everyone knows that Asilva would knock out Fedor ifthey fought anywhere from 07 to today, not sure about 2006 tho.

You gotta admit his style looks like he's blatantly disrespecting his opponent but any real fan knows its all part of A Silvas psychology to frustrate his opponent (King Silva knows what he's doing when he does that). Weidman gutted it out up to the right moment and time. Simple as that.

you can shut right the fuck up talking to me.

i hate you out of context arguing ass niggas...

@Theodis.. sometimes hell say something intelligent but precede it with something unintelligent followed andd ending in something ignorant centered around race (in about 3 different ways when it has NOTHING to do with race), or being a geek as if he knows he's trolling but swears that he isn't verbally doing it. I can't take him seriously.

It doesnt matter.. Jon Jones is the number one p4p right now uncontested. I like anyone to argue that. You cant even give Cain Velasquez that due to him losing to JDS no too long ago and GSP doesnt finish fights even when he dominates them.

Fedor is behind ASilva as an all time great. I believe GSP and Bones will pass ASilva when all is said and done.

You also belived ASilva would win.

Fedor has been undefeated for a longer period, and even tho I dont hold weight on size, Fedor was greatly undersized so his skills for the time shined.

If Asilva stayed undefeated somehow for about the same period maybe I would give it to him. Now it comes down to if he beat Jon Jones avenges this loss and doesn' tlose anymore fights i can definitely call him the greatest due toe higher level of opponents he has faced. Fighters are only getting better and better by the year.

If Anderson actually showed up to fight he would have won.

He didn't.

And yes getting KOd while trying to show boat does tarnish a legacy.

Now that the shock has worn off, I'll give Weidman his props for committing a real punch. Still, he had completely got sucked into the showboating shit and was eating leg kicks like cookies. If Anderson fought the end of the first and beginning of the second like he fought Rich Franklin, Weidman would be another hyped up victim because he looked like the pressure was doing its job.

With that said, though, I think the invincibility bubble is popped.

Every fight after this will have to be Silva on his for real shit. You can only do that Forest Griffin hands down styling when people are scared to commit punches. I'll give Weidman a legit shot in the rematch since his confidence ought to be on 1000.

Then again... Chael Sonnen. Chael was 30 seconds away from winning the title the first fight and lost on a fluke. Second time Anderson took him seriously and well... yeah.

No way Silva threw the fight. Player just lost. If he would have won with that strategy by blipping Weidman with well placed shot in round 2, we'd all by talking bout how Silva totally tooled him. But it ain't work out. Although I wish it did, it is what it is.

He did get in his head in round 1. If he would have came at Weidman seriously for the first half of round 2 then turned up with that shit, it probably would have went different. Weidman had a chance to rest and recollect between rounds. Silva starting taunting and Weidman was rested enough to place them shots or at least swing accurately. That taunting strategy is best suited for after you've jabbed your opponent a few times and put some doubt in him, like in round 1.

Sucks but respect the game win or lose.

I take some away from the talent Fedor was against. MMA was really young then. He is kinda like the Bill Russel or Wilt of the era. Silvia came in kinda like Jordan. Not as many rings as Bill but more concentrated talent. I see Jones being James like just a freak of nature. A Silvia had easier fights than Jones will because the talent in the sport is only getting better.

people sayin silva is arrogant

they also said dude called him arrogant and disrepectful after the ko.

yet sonnen gets no heat for what he does.

silva is the bad guy?
