Heat big men better come to play in the Pacers series, i'm sure Dexter Pittman will get some usage this series. All he needs to do is put a body on Hibbert overrated ass.

Nah, I see Turiaf being used in this series

Hibbert is 7'2'', Turiaf is too small to match up with him. Pittman has the height and body weight!

The Indiana Pacers hope the Heat flops figurately and expects them to flop literally in their playoff series that starts Sunday. Pacers coach Frank Vogel told his team and Indianapolis reporters late Thursday afternoon that the Heat is the NBA's most egregious offender in flopping shenanigans. He hopes NBA referees hear those comments.

"They are the biggest flopping team in the NBA," Vogel said. "Every drive to the basket, they have guys not making a play on the ball, but sliding in front of drivers. Often times, they're falling down even before contact is even being made. It will be very interesting to see how the refs officiate the series and how much flopping they allow."

Vogel said, "We feel like we're one of the best teams in the league. We are not viewing this in any way, shape or form like a David versus Golaith type of meeting. We are not the underdog here. This is two heavyweights going toe to toe. That's how we view this series." (Nobody believes him about the underdog comment.)

Lol trying to get his own team motivated and it might backfire...

Pacers center Roy Hibbert directed a little trash talk Miami's way after Indiana knocked off the mighty Magic. From the Indianapolis Star:

"We didn't do this the easy way," Hibbert said. "It took time. But Larry Bird and (general manager) David Morway drafted well. We got (David) West. We got George Hill, Leandro (Barbosa) and Lou (Amundson) for almost nothing. We didn't do this by signing a couple of superstars.''

Exactly...nigga going to find out what that word means over the next 4 maybe 5 games.

LOL at Indy trying to work the referees already, only lets me know these niggas are scared. Let your game speak for itself, stop the Phil Jackson bullshit.

They puffin their chest out to make them look harder than they are...it will backfire. They were 1-3 against the Heat just like the Knicks were....speed bump ass niggas.

WHAT THE HEAT NEED TO DO TO WIN

Control Indy’s bigs. The Heat will have a hard time winning the rebound battle, just playing even would be a victory. The Pacers rely on second-chance points as a significant portion of their offense. Hibbert is not a dominant player but can has the ability to take over games at times with interior scoring. The Heat will have to attempt to limit his and David West’s effectiveness.

Contain dribble penetration. Weak-side defense is important when playing Indiana, you have to have help defenders ready because the Pacers prefer to attempt to drive from the perimeter. This is how they are able to get to the line, forcing fouls off the dribble. They need free throws and second-chance points because they don’t have great individual scorers. Staying out of the bonus is important.

Apply pressure. The Pacers have a tendency to lose their focus and their patience. They can give up big runs and have their spirit broken. They are not a veteran team and most of their players have not played deep into the playoffs. The Heat have the ability to throw haymakers because of their talent and their athleticism. The Pacers have shown they can be shaky under pressure.

SCOUT'S PICK: Heat in five.

man, forget a scout pick

DaBull Pick: Indiana wins game 1..................Paul George is too long for WW. LeBron will dominate Granger but that is Heat only advantage. David West is tougher and wont wilt under pressure like Bosh.

Big Baby is 6'8-6-9" and he defended Hibbert well. Hibbert doesnt have the skill to exploit his height advantage.
