from what i've read, it does.. i've yet to experience any of those but did see a negative effect from water deficiency when i got back from the notre dame/msu game last weekend.. other than that, my ladies never want for anything..

another thing about problematic signs is..... If you don't provide the right conditions, sometimes you'll get leaves with conjoined blades or some that are even missing... leaves grow with odd numbers of blades so you'll start with your seeding plant which has one, then you'll get 3 blades.. then 5, 7, & finally 9 bladed fan leaves that can get as big as your head.. so last year, this clone mother for my blueberry was growing super healthy.. but one of it's gigantic fan leaves had an interesting tenth blade growing from the very center of the leaf that actually over laps the leave's largest center [apex] blade.. like a feather sticking out of a pimp's hat.. i had to invert the colors in the pic so you can see it..

Either way good lookin out. I've never seen anything with more than 7 leaves.

And what would you do to avoid these problematic situations?

no.. things like not enough light.. water deprivation.. it stresses the plant & causes deformed leaves, ect.. this is in reference to stresses during veg.. these things happening during flowering would definitely effect potency..

Timber Tip:
