I'm torn because I'm happy for HipHop but reality tells me that this type of HipHop and this type of HipHop artist is not exactly the prototype of what true HipHop is supposed to embody.

This whole praise is wack and hypocritical. Do people say its a good look for hip hop when eminem puts up big numbers? No. Heres a newsflash, wayne and em have the same audience. If a rapper who puts little effort into his craft and pushes the homosexual agenda to young easily manipulated black youth ( like the ones who go crazy when eminem is on 106 and park) all while making them think his sound of defecation makes him the best, then I gives Nas props. The shit really is dead. Fuck that. When God Forgives does 150k, Life is Good does 200k or J.Cole does 75k, then homage will be given. Thats a good look for hip hop. I'm not surprised really, he had the momentum to do it even before he went to Riker's that just made his stock rise even faster. I mean the guy never sleeps, he keeps his name buzzing by working with everyone, plus hr has the teen crowd (Drake, Lil Twist, Tyga) and female crowd (Nicki Minaj) locked. As for the music actually being great that's another story I liked a few songs on the album but overall it's average but still congrat's YMCMB is the hottest label doing it right now

when wtt came out niggas was congratulating him on his sales, making threads about how many countries it's no1 in...soon as rumor kicked off that weezy was finna go plat, some of those same niggas i.e rapmastermind and usmarin started playing shit down all of a sudden....if jay had done these kind of numbers, them niggas wud have made 8 threads by now....
