Through the miscalculation and all, the attempt to guilt trip negros to sign up, Im gonna give my thoughts - I do something like this on the daily (not pumping my tires)
@sion @"black caesar" and others feel free to chime in.
•Jigga man needs to fall back, the heat is on him for the initial presentation of the company to the U.S. He needs to appoint someone else to be the spokesperson and create ads about the experience of using Tidal - sort of like that old phone commercial with artists fitting in a phone booth and someone yelling "Biggie, no!" The Apple watch ads get people, at least, curious about the product. $9.99 service should be the primary focus of ads
•Rumors are he isn't the majority or whatever but in the end, he needs to re-capitalize the business, he needs a big lump sum of money, the SoftBank deal didn't come through but something of the sort needs to happen to add liquidity. There's a difference between a company that records losing quarters (via accounting rules) and burns through cash. Seems like his competitors records losses but I'm not sure if they burn through $
•He may be able to access debt to hold Tidal over or if cash flows are sufficient, he can add debt (interest rates haven't been lower since I was born) and pay the owners a nice monthly dividend, so its a win win even if the user base doesn't increase as fast as he'd like - but this only works if the company can generate cash
•this is big business he's in, don't bring up race unless some one calls you a slur, say those things and how you really feel to your homies and your wife. Apple has a war chest and is going come after the streaming market
