keep at it people..set your deadlines and even schedule your exams early so that you will know you should study.

study and pass those exams. you will make more $$

Is anyone still studying? I am. It might get though because I'm going on an interview for a 2nd job today, but I'm going to stick to the plan.

The class is offered at the university I'm attending so I guess that's the site for it is. I have five classes left to take but my GPA isn't what it needs to be to graduate so I thought about taking some extra classes to boost up it up. But yea it's too expensive.

If it's offered at the university but say that Mobile Apps class is higher than the other computer classes, you don't have to do it. In order to get that type of class out , you have to show on your resume "Relevant Courses" that you have taken and jot that down on there.

Let me ask you this. How many times did you take the test? Be real.

Also, do they give you your scores that day and what is the score you need to pass? I heard it's somewhere after 820

CCNA? i took that shit twice. the test is computerized so you get your score instantly. passing is dependent upon how many questions they give you..between 55 and 65 questions so passing is around 815-825

Was that ICND1 or 2 you took twice, ot did you just the whole test at once? Do they give you your ID# right there? Do they mail the cert?

i took the whole joint twice...the actual CCNA, not icnd 1 and 2. i cant remember if you get the ID after or you get it prior to even taking the test since you have to register for the test. yes the cert is mailed to you after a few weeks

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but what places would you recommend applying to after obtaining your CCNA? I understand that one would have to start off in Help Desk to gain experience, but where specifically should you look?

with a CCNA you could get a network administrator role. Helpdesk is generally for people entering the IT field but with a cert like CCNA you could skip it if youre lucky.

These Help Desk Jobs description are so vague ... I mean I had a interview with Emory and the recruiter told me that I got beat by someone who already knew about Electronic Medical Records. I was like damnit man. I just need a point of reference to know what to study, cause I swear I must be saying to much in these interviews. Especially when I mention Linux...My boy keeps saying to me," they going to train you anyway so don't Od in the interviews!! "
